Located at the heart of Renée-Sabran Hospital, this ceramics workshop and café offers a space for creative renewal. The intention is to shape the space around the patient’s movement, transforming the reception area into a protective shell reminiscent of the bark of the surrounding pine trees.
Here, the architecture unfolds in layers, inviting a much-needed return to the self. Each crafted object bears witness to a dialogue between the hand and the material. Every stage of the object’s creation becomes a space for introspection, where patients move through a fluid environment designed with each individual in mind.
