ARTE – CAPTURING CULTURE

This project transforms the print shop by creating new spaces dedicated to printmaking and graphic design. The print shop’s operations become the heart of the project and are complemented by a library specializing in the arts and crafts, a screening room showcasing its archives, and a sound space dedicated to vinyl records. The workshops have been redesigned to accommodate movable and modular furniture that facilitates various uses, movement, and the printers’ work.
This project came to fruition thanks to a design internship completed in 2025, during which we worked at the ARTE print shop, allowing us to observe and learn the trades and techniques of the printers.
