Each evening, a silent shift takes place. The rational world gradually loses its clarity. Movements slow down, outlines begin to blur, and light gently fades. Somewhere between wakefulness and sleep, our perception of reality becomes less stable, slowly revealing an inner space where the imagination can take shape.
This project explores the bedtime ritual as a moment of transition between waking consciousness and a more inward state, conducive to letting go, relaxation, and dreaming. Through a collection of bedside objects, I investigate how design can accompany this mental and sensory transition.
Designed to exist in half-light, these objects become silent witnesses to a mind gradually leaving the tangible world behind and entering a freer, more imaginative space.
