An Italian way of life, dolce far niente invites us to slow down and savour the present moment. Often associated with holidays and the Mediterranean, it can seem difficult to transpose elsewhere. Yet it evokes in each of us a mental image that is both visual and sensory. How can this experience be translated into space? Through three objects and a scenography, this project seeks to make this imaginary tangible. The aim is to give form to a space of sensory memories, capable of reawakening moments buried within the body and the senses. Sensory immersion, models, prototypes, and materials are used to explore and translate these lived sensations at different scales.
