At the Salins des Pesquiers stands an almost forgotten building: La Mouture. Once used for salt production and storage, this now fragile structure seems to be gradually merging into the surrounding landscape. Set between two bodies of water, it nevertheless bears witness to the memory of the site and to a discreet heritage that is at risk of disappearing. This project explores how the site can be brought back into use without disrupting the fragile balance of its surroundings. Conceived as an experience of landscape and living systems, the rehabilitation of La Mouture seeks to reveal the different temporalities, uses and sensitivities inherent to the salt marshes.
