This project aims to bring nature back into the heart of the healthcare setting, drawing inspiration from the poetry of the forest.
Designed as an immersive walk, the space invites visitors to stroll gently, guided by a rhythm of open spaces and more enveloping areas, promoting calm and a sense of letting go. The intention is to make the sensations of a forest walk accessible—something that is often difficult for people with limited mobility to experience.
Light plays the leading role here: filtered through openwork rattan structures, it evokes komorebi, with rays of sunlight passing through and enhancing the foliage. Variations in scale, height, and density of the patterns create a play of shifting shadows, reminiscent of a woodland glade.
