ORBE explores the role of the object as a creator of cultural heritage value. Inspired by the knife holder, this project merges the object with its pedestal to elevate everyday life. In the face of the decline of rituals and the rise of nomadism, we propose a hybrid silver cutlery set—silver being a material that embodies tradition and memory.
The concept is based on levitation: through a calculated balance between two spheres, the tip rises by 5°. This minute shift transforms the body’s posture and the attention paid to the gesture. Here, silver becomes a vehicle for memory rather than a mere symbol of wealth. By integrating its stand, the cutlery becomes its own stage.
