The project focuses on the outbuildings of the Château de la Brunetterie in Orgeval, a site steeped in history that now stands abandoned. In response to the town’s vibrant network of community associations and its lack of suitable spaces, the project proposes converting the two existing outbuildings into a Community Associations Centre, a place for meeting, sharing, activities, and the exchange of knowledge and skills.
The intervention follows an approach of sensitive and respectful rehabilitation, preserving and enhancing the existing materials, volumes, and original architectural identity while adapting the site to contemporary uses.
