Using leather offcuts from the luxury industry, this project explores material experimentation through an approach centred on the complete reuse of leather. Cutting is no longer considered a source of waste, but becomes a creative tool in its own right.
By revealing the edges of the leather, usually concealed, the project brings overlooked irregularities and fragments to the surface, transforming waste into a new visual language. These elements are then recomposed through a system of assembled leather strips to create a new textile-like surface.
This exploration of material, texture, and volume culminates in the creation of a bag, where discarded fragments are transformed into a new functional and expressive whole.
