Listed as a historic monument since 1989, this Art Nouveau building located on the heights of Malzéville, near Nancy, was built in 1902 by architects Frédéric Schertzer and Georges Biet. It also features stained-glass windows by Henry Berger.
The project aims to restore the site’s original function as an open-air retreat, conceived as a place of well-being connected to the outdoors. The objective is to create continuity between interior and exterior through natural light, wind, and views of the surrounding landscape.
Surrounded by a residential neighbourhood and set on a hillside, the site would primarily welcome walkers and families.
