I don't know what I have seen anymore.
I don't know what I have read, learned, remembered anymore.
I just know that I am creating.
This dissertation came into being from that place.
From trauma, which led to partial loss of my memory:
that of old memories and new memories, in its broadest definition.
I lost the meaning of the word remember.
I question memory and memory lapse and how they shape creation.
I explore memories that are not all saturated with references.
Each one is logical as a creative source.
Especially in a world where artificial intelligence outsources memory and where we often prefer it to our own.
Ultimately, creation always reveals the same truth:
you never create from nothing.
You create.
