Every legacy passed down is associated with the figure of the custodian: the person who, for a limited time, is entrusted with the responsibility of preserving, conserving, enriching, and then passing on what has been entrusted to them.
Yet the memory embedded in these objects remains fragile. As they are passed from one generation to the next, some stories become fragmented, while others disappear, leaving the objects anonymous, orphaned from their history.
The project proposes the creation of a tool conceived through the lens of a trunk. It invites the custodian to select certain objects and the stories they hold, following a protocol for collection and storytelling.
