As the climate changes, new ways of inhabiting our environments are emerging. Heat, long considered a constraint to be controlled, becomes an opportunity to rethink our relationship with comfort.
This project explores a form of cooling that can provide comfort with minimal energy use, through a simple phenomenon: the movement of air.
Drawing on simple, low-tech solutions, the device explores a slower way of living with heat, one that is more attentive to the rhythms of the body and less reliant on technology.
Suspended above the bed, its gentle oscillation accompanies sleep with a light breath of air, inviting rest and easing the transition into sleep while creating a calm, almost meditative atmosphere.
