Coffee is not just a drink, it is preparation, a moment, which structures our spaces, draws our objects and sets the pace of our days. From the perspective of a future interior architect and designer, coffee is fascinating because it brings together community and the individual, that which is slow and fast. From the Parisian café to Starbucks, from coffee service to the Nespresso capsule, each era has shaped its own ritual. The objects and places around the world of coffee are witnesses that tell the story of how we live, consume and meet up.
