Since its design as a covered market, the building has undergone multiple transformations, from beach resort to bath houses and gymnasiums. This project aims to preserve the seaside function through the use of saunas. Simultaneously, the shop will be revived as a gallery and florist, along with a café, a relaxation area, and a botanical garden. This renovation will attract new community members, provide health services and become an institution the community can be proud of. My approach focuses on some strong architectural gestures, while cultivating an inclusive and inspiring aesthetic. The evolution of the programme will contribute to the preservation of the building, which will continue to serve its current community.
