Just a stone's throw from Port-Joinville, the Usines district still carries the traces of its industrial past, marked by tuna fishing and canning. For many years, the economic engine of the Île d'Yeu, this sector is now at a standstill, in stark contrast to the island's vibrant tourism and residential activity. This project aims to revitalise it by drawing on its maritime heritage and island culture. A pathway runs through the neighbourhood, connecting the various planned spaces: housing for residents, local shops, areas overlooking the seafront and the site's historical significance.
