LIVING WITH THE WATER is an innovative concept of sustainable tourism on Lake Der. This very large artificial lake is nicknamed the “Sea of Champagne”.
The challenge of the project is to promote tourism development by minimising the impacts. The project consists of a mobile dwelling. These house-and-boat hybrids make it possible to sail on the water. The aim is to offer a contemplative and nature-friendly experience. Lightweight embarkation interfaces will be available. The project will offer guests a unique experience with the “environment” of this artificial lake. Living at the rhythm of water, time and silence, occupants enjoy a gentle introduction to the lake's ecosystems, fauna, flora and human activities of this little-known region.
