With this in mind, the future Sofitel lobby emerges as a space that combines luxury hospitality with the festive sphere, celebrating a diversity of genres, generations and cultures. Tucked away in the Sofitel Paris le Faubourg hotel, this lobby highlights dance as a means of escape and bodily liberation. The floor, as an essential link between the body and space, is of crucial importance. Composed of inclined surfaces, it acts as a second skin and rocks guests’ reality.
The space is divided into two zones, corresponding to day and night, where the floor gradually gains in size. The concept of the duet, which is central to dance, is expressed through the double furniture that brings the space alive.
