Are you aware of your gaze? Of what your eyes convey and what they express? The gaze is in fact, beyond the scientific aspect, about personal awareness, a thought built by our own interpretations and perceptions.
It develops, sharpens and takes its cues from our environment. This individual gaze is shared and influences the world around us.
By taking into account this notion of interaction between personal gaze and shared gaze, I came up with the problematics of dialogue between the artist’s gaze and that of the viewer. A mise en abîme where one transmits and the other receives.
