In this dissertation, I embarked on a journey between my roots and history in my homeland, Mayotte. I invite you to explore remote corners and hidden elements of my land with me. Precious memories, since buried, are revealed through interviews, offering an experience and a new vision of Mayotte. With a view to transforming these memories into a time-travel diary, I then seek to retrace, recompose and connect the fragments of collective memories, allowing me to revisit the past to shed light on the future. My memory is an adventure through mapping, searching for traces and memories of the past in varied contexts, weaving a web of stories that connects past, present, and future.
