In an ever-changing world, the balance of our planet is under threat. At the heart of climate change, rising sea levels appear to be a major threat to our coastal infrastructure. The study focuses on the Lège-Cap-Ferret peninsula, a region affected by rising water levels and soil erosion. Through a personal, environmental and architectural approach, the study seeks to understand how we can live when faced with these new challenges. Throughout this travel journal, punctuated with watercolours, you will be invited to explore the specificities, history and challenges of this area through conversations with local stakeholders. This project highlights the need to reinvent our architecture, creating new opportunities to develop more environmentally-friendly habitats.
