My project is based on a simple observation: at Renée-Sabran Hospital, “Le Relay” is currently the only gathering place, but it is poorly located and underutilized. I propose moving it to the heart of the campus, to the plaza in front of Building H, in order to recreate a true hub of activity. This plaza, enlivened by kiosks and shared spaces, becomes a thoroughfare and meeting place for everyone. Extending from it, the right wing houses a game room, offering spaces where people can be alone or with others, take their time, and interact. The overall goal is to restore a social dimension to this healthcare setting, by transforming Building H into a vibrant space where moments of connection play a full part in the healing process.
