Scent is an invisible material. It moves through space, accompanies our gestures, and silently embeds itself in our memories. Long fascinated by its evocative power, I wanted to explore fragrance not simply as a product, but as a spatial material in its own right.
This research led me to imagine a diffusion device in which scent is revealed through movement. Inspired by the ancestral gesture of the incense burner, the object reinterprets this ritual through cold diffusion, preserving the integrity of the fragrance while controlling the way it emerges into space.
Here, movement is not simply a mechanical effect. It becomes the very medium of diffusion, giving scent a rhythm, a temporality, and a presence.
