Located within the Hangar Y in Meudon, a former 23-metre-high industrial cathedral originally built for airships, the project redefines the relationship with athletic performance by considering the body as a whole. The central nave houses an artificial climbing wall with sculptural, overhanging profiles, equipped with leading training systems: Kilter Board, MoonBoard, Spray Wall, etc. But The Forge goes further. Around this sporting core, a comprehensive recovery and support programme unfolds, including a spa, hammam, sauna and cold plunge, as well as massage and physiotherapy rooms and video coaching spaces, where every climb can be analysed and refined.
The body is challenged, then restored. Effort is experienced, then understood.
