Entre action et contemplation, des dispositifs nous invitent \u00e0 vivre avec nos souvenirs. Qu’elles soient des documents audio, \u00e9crits ou visuels, ces traces de m\u00e9moires revivent, sont r\u00e9activ\u00e9es, jusqu’\u00e0 \u00eatre r\u00e9invent\u00e9es et sublim\u00e9es. Le temps est arr\u00eat\u00e9, et nous nous retrouvons avec nous m\u00eame, sans autres distractions que notre reflet.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Sur cette station d’\u00e9coute, nous contr\u00f4lons les documents audio que nous souhaitons \u00e9couter et r\u00e9-\u00e9couter : messages t\u00e9l\u00e9phoniques conserv\u00e9s, musiques, enregistrements… Symboliquement, ils demandent \u00e0 \u00eatre activ\u00e9s par le mouvement du miroir pour que nous puissions les revivre. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Allong\u00e9s ou assis sur la station de contemplation, nous revisitons nos souvenirs manuscrits. Une seule personne s’y place, individuellement, avec son propre reflet. Le temps d’un instant, on s’allonge, le temps s’arr\u00eate et on lit, on se regarde, on regarde notre int\u00e9rieur d’une autre mani\u00e8re, et on relit, et on se re-regarde… <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Entre \u00e9crans, miroirs et modules de rangement, la station de visionnage refl\u00e8te plusieurs versions de soi-m\u00eame. Que l’on soit devant ou non, ce dispositif et nos m\u00e9moires qui s’y trouvent habitent notre espace int\u00e9rieur de fa\u00e7on permanente. Activ\u00e9s o\u00f9 non, nos photos et autres documents visuels y sont rang\u00e9s mais restent visibles.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Proprement interne \u00e0 l’ameublement [\u2026] existe l’essence du projet tendre, mou, sentimental. [Les mat\u00e9riaux du projet mou] sont le textile, la couleur, le climat, la m\u00e9moire, la lumi\u00e8re qui touchent et caressent le corps sans lui faire mal.<\/p>

The arrangement of domestic space reveals an archaic process of self-discovery. In a constant ebb and flow, we shape our interiors by allowing the objects within them to inhabit the space. Symbols and witnesses to our experiences, they become a reflection of our personality. Between action and contemplation, visual and auditory devices challenge our individuality, reflecting multiple facets of the self. By viewing the domestic space as a stage for these objects, the project explores the interior environment and encourages a coexistence with memories and traces of the past.
