Over time, it has evolved into a multicultural centre.

Since 2020, the city of Marseille has been actively encouraging the restoration of green spaces, the creation of new parks and gardens, and the enhancement of urban greenery.

PALIMPSESTE fits naturally into this dynamic, enhancing the identity of the site while integrating a dimension of awareness of local flora and fauna.

The aim is to restore the Hospice de la Vieille Charit\u00e9 to a vibrant and appealing role, one that is welcoming and encourages relaxation, which is something many feel is lacking here.
