La Villa Th\u00e9o a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9habilit\u00e9e en centre d\u2019art, m\u00ealant expositions et atelier de peinture ouvert au public, dans l\u2019esprit du lieu d\u2019origine. Le sol devient un fil conducteur : un calepinage de carreaux en gr\u00e8s c\u00e9rame de 5\u202f\u00d7\u202f5\u202fcm, pens\u00e9 comme une \u00e9vocation du pointillisme pr\u00e9sent dans l\u2019\u0153uvre de Th\u00e9o.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Chaque espace est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 une toile peinte au Lavandou ou dans ses environs : les motifs de carrelage sont cr\u00e9\u00e9s en lien avec ces tableaux, en coh\u00e9rence avec l\u2019usage de chaque pi\u00e8ce.
Un bandeau encadre chaque zone, cr\u00e9ant des transitions douces vers le mobilier, tout en guidant la circulation.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Les cloisons ont \u00e9t\u00e9 partiellement ouvertes pour agrandir l\u2019espace, mais le carrelage en trace les contours, sugg\u00e9rant un parcours libre et sensible \u00e0 travers l\u2019univers du peintre.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

It was here that Th\u00e9o Van Rysselberghe, a prominent figure in neo-impressionism, found a creative space and refuge: the Villa Th\u00e9o.
Today, it has become an exhibition space, showcasing works from the past alongside contemporary exhibitions. This home studio has rediscovered its original purpose: to share art.
Its architecture draws inspiration from the principles of neo-impressionism, engaging in a dialogue between colour and light.
