Can we really design using a mouse, a computer and software?

Through studying six entries, this dissertation assembles and disassembles the tools and processes that shape digital creation. By analysing what is involved in this transformation of the creative gesture, this text questions designers about their double-sided relationship with the machine: a tool with seemingly infinite potential, but the decision-making control of which is gradually slipping away. This work is a call for friction, exploration and the misappropriation of our digital tools, but also an invitation to (re)discover a way of doing things and a more perceptible, more human temporality of design.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n
