I did not exist in 2003. It did though.

My parents searched, visited. They focused their plans on another house, but never found it. Then they stopped in front of a white gate bearing the marks of time, a symbol of protection, like a guard in front of a castle. It rose perpendicular to the road, had been worn by the passing years but still standing, ready to open its insides to anyone who wanted it.

This written account offers a private introspection, nourished by my experience, of the connection between a person and their accommodation.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n

“Elle \u00e9tait l\u00e0, au milieu d\u2019un terrain d\u2019herbe verte, une mare aux grenouilles, quelques graviers. et puis, juste \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9, sa voisine.
