What if building using earth was ultimately a way of taking care of ourselves?
Stemming from personal intuition, this research explores raw earth as a potential antidote to the hectic modern world. Although earth was an material used everywhere in the history of architecture, the standardisation of construction methods have meant that it has been masked in recent decades. Yet, new strategies are required facing the alarming data about the pollution the planet is subjected to. We embark on a quest that is needed to take care of nature, our environment and people. Earth doesn’t just build things, it is a sensitive material that repairs as well.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n
