Running represents a field of study for me that reveals relationships with the body, public space and social norms. For an interior architect and designer, analysing these uses helps design inclusive and empowering environments. Although it seems to be something ordinary, running retains a political dimension when women do it. Long excluded from racing, they had to fight to access a sport associated with virility.

Running makes it possible to regain possession of a controlled body and affirm its freedom in the public space, while being marked by the paradoxes of performance and gender marketing. This dissertation analyses women\u2019s running as an act of empowerment in a social design approach.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n
