Wandering is about allowing yourself to be surprised by a city you think you already know. In cities that are increasingly optimised, mapped, and guided, this way of moving through urban space has become increasingly rare.

But can modern technology revive, or even transform, the act of wandering and getting lost? This project explores that possibility by creating an experience of the city beyond conventional maps and linear time.

A sensory guidance app reveals the urban environment through the body. Five levels of proximity, translated into vibrations, guide the fl\u00e2neur towards cultural points of interest, from architecture, sculpture, murals, cinema, music, and literature to unusual places and living environments, without an imposed map or displayed directions.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n
