The Viaduc des Arts is experiencing a decline in visitors. Its arches, home to exceptional craftsmanship, struggle to attract audiences beyond those already familiar with the field. Rue Daumesnil remains a place people pass through rather than a destination. And design itself often remains associated with an elite, displayed in galleries but rarely accessible through everyday use.
This project breaks away from the display-window model. A bar-caf\u00e9 on the ground floor acts as a threshold, inviting people in without requiring any prior knowledge. You enter for a coffee and discover a place you might never have visited otherwise. Designer furniture is no longer something simply to look at: it is there to be used, touched, experienced, and purchased if desired.

Le jour et le soir font appara\u00eetre deux atmosph\u00e8res distinctes. Le jour, l’espace vit comme un caf\u00e9 ouvert sur l’avenue, o\u00f9 se croisent visiteurs, artisans et passants curieux. Le soir, le lieu se vide de son mobilier pour laisser place \u00e0 la dimension sonore. on d\u00e9couvre un artiste musical venu partager sa cr\u00e9ation.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

Chaque pi\u00e8ce de mobilier pr\u00e9sente dans le caf\u00e9 est associ\u00e9e \u00e0 un QR code, discr\u00e8tement int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 sa structure. En le scannant, le visiteur acc\u00e8de \u00e0 une fiche descriptive d\u00e9taillant l’origine de la pi\u00e8ce, le mat\u00e9riau utilis\u00e9, la technique de fabrication, et surtout l’artisan ou le fabricant qui la con\u00e7ue souvent install\u00e9.
