When I first discovered Le Consulat Voltaire, I was struck by the strength of its industrial identity: its raw volumes, generous height, and traces of the past. Yet behind this spatial richness, I also encountered a place in constant transformation, shaped by a diverse cultural programme but sometimes constrained by a spatial organisation that lacks clarity.

My project emerged from this tension: how can a place be transformed without losing what makes it unique? How can its evolving uses be supported while preserving the atmosphere that defines its identity?

Rather than rebuilding or concealing the existing architecture, I chose to work with it.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n
