A cut flower travels thousands of kilometres before reaching Paris. It passes through greenhouses in the Netherlands, the markets of Rungis, and floral workshops, only to end its journey a few hours later at the heart of a luxury dinner. Then it is discarded.

This paradox lies at the heart of my project. In the luxury events industry, vast quantities of flowers are used for extremely short periods, four hours on average. Once the event is over, dismantling takes place under pressure, with neither the time nor the systems needed to give these arrangements a second life. Disposal becomes the only option.

The Last Bloom is a design system comprising three modular units, conceived to integrate directly into this critical stage of dismantling.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n

Ce projet questionne le r\u00f4le du design dans la revalorisation des mati\u00e8res \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8res. Il explore les moyens de prolonger leur cycle de vie, de repenser leur circulation et de leur attribuer de nouveaux usages une fois l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement termin\u00e9.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

Cette repr\u00e9sentation illustre le stand de dipl\u00f4me 2026. On y retrouve les diff\u00e9rents dispositifs du projet, notamment le mobilier de stockage et le kiosque, qui mettent en sc\u00e8ne la d\u00e9marche de revalorisation des fleurs coup\u00e9es et pr\u00e9sentent les diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9tapes de leur nouveau cycle de vie.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

Pour prolonger la vie des fleurs coup\u00e9es dans le luxe \u00e9v\u00e9nementiel, j\u2019ai con\u00e7u trois dispositifs : le rebouquetage, le stockage et le compostage, afin de favoriser leur r\u00e9emploi, leur conservation et leur valorisation en fin de cycle.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

Cet espace de production permet de cr\u00e9er de nouveaux bouquets \u00e0 partir des fleurs encore en bon \u00e9tat apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement. Ils peuvent ensuite \u00eatre offerts aux invit\u00e9s ou propos\u00e9s \u00e0 la vente \u00e0 prix r\u00e9duit aux passants, afin de prolonger leur usage et \u00e9viter le gaspillage.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

La probl\u00e9matique a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9finie \u00e0 partir d\u2019entretiens et d\u2019interviews r\u00e9alis\u00e9s aupr\u00e8s de diff\u00e9rents acteurs du secteur. Ces \u00e9changes ont permis d\u2019identifier les enjeux li\u00e9s au cycle de vie des fleurs coup\u00e9es et de construire une r\u00e9flexion adapt\u00e9e aux besoins du terrain.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n
