What impact can we have on society as designers?
This is the question that guided my thesis and that I chose to explore through this project.
Invisibles is a furniture collection designed for the Palais de la Femme. Steeped in history and shaped by a strong social mission, the building reveals a need for comfort, privacy, and a renewed sense of ownership, particularly within the Grand Hall, the heart of the building, which people pass through every day but rarely inhabit.
The project explores how furniture can help rebuild social connections and foster a sense of belonging. The notion of invisibility becomes the guiding thread: being invisible in the eyes of society, but also, at times, choosing invisibility as a form of protection.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n

S\u2019appuyant sur les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes collaborations artistiques du Palais de la Femme et sur l\u2019atelier de menuiserie du chantier d\u2019insertion, ce projet associe les r\u00e9sidentes \u00e0 la fabrication de leur mobilier commun lors d\u2019un atelier participatif r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9, encadr\u00e9 par un designer et l\u2019\u00e9quipe du chantier d’insertion \u00ab Terre de Femmes \u00bb.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n
