Both a living space and a workplace, the artist residency blurs the boundaries between production, everyday life, and research. It brings together multiple rhythms and practices that do not fit within traditional spatial typologies.

This project responds to these conditions through furniture, conceived as an autonomous system capable of supporting different uses without fixing them in place. Through a series of modules, it allows spaces for work, rest, storage, or exhibition to emerge according to the needs and profiles of the residents.

Designed to adapt to a variety of situations, from individual living to collaboration and shared life, the furniture becomes a tool for the subtle transformation of space.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n

Situ\u00e9e sur la colline du Pincio, au c\u0153ur de Rome, la Villa M\u00e9dicis est le si\u00e8ge de l’Acad\u00e9mie de France \u00e0 Rome. Ce projet s’inscrit dans le concours R\u00e9enchanter la Villa M\u00e9dicis, qui porte sur la conception de mobilier pour les pavillons accueillant chaque ann\u00e9e des artistes en r\u00e9sidence.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

Le projet repose sur un syst\u00e8me d\u00e9montable de lattes en bois de section unique, assembl\u00e9es par boulonnage. Des lattes coulissantes permettent d’\u00e9tendre les meubles, tandis que des structures accueillent \u00e9tag\u00e8res, penderie ou panneaux suspendus, pour un mobilier \u00e9volutif, r\u00e9parable et r\u00e9appropriable.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n
