This project grew out of an experience walking the Camino de Santiago, where walking became a means of rebuilding and finding a sense of calm. On the Aubrac plateau, I discovered the burons, vernacular structures that bear witness to a pastoral heritage now under threat. Confronted with the harshness of this preserved landscape and the practical needs of pilgrims and walkers, I explore design as a link between contemporary use and the memory of place. The project proposes a collection of objects inspired by local forms, materials, and craftsmanship, designed to accompany the experience of the journey: to recover, pause, contemplate, and pass on knowledge. The chosen materials, charred wood and Corten steel, enter into dialogue with the site\u2019s mineral character and memory.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n
