The Boucicaut House, located in Bell\u00eame in the Orne region, is set within a village marked by a strong presence of second homes, creating contrasting rhythms of life between weekdays and weekends. Aristide and Marguerite Boucicaut, founders of Le Bon March\u00e9, intended their residence to serve a social purpose for the benefit of the local community. The rehabilitation project seeks to honour this intention.
Its transformation into a community centre dedicated to young people responds to this legacy by providing a local space for permanent residents and bringing renewed activity to the village during the week. Through workshops, a nursery, and shared spaces, the project creates a collective dynamic centred around everyday activities.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n
