At the heart of the Palais-Royal, heir to the legacy of Parisian nightlife, the project continues a festive and cultural history shaped by nocturnal extravagance.
One of its galleries is transformed into a night-time bar, scenographed as the condensation of an entire lunar cycle into a single night. From the new moon to the full moon, the architecture follows this cycle, orchestrating a gradual progression towards light. The space unfolds as a transition from darkness to revelation, playing with thresholds, intensities, and perceptions.Guests are invited on a nocturnal journey where disorientation becomes part of the experience. The route is theatricalised as a gradual rise in intensity, with each sequence altering the perception and atmosphere of the space.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n

Acte I, Sc\u00e8ne I \u00b7 Le Seuil<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n

Le rideau se l\u00e8ve sur la Nuit. Dans l\u2019obscurit\u00e9 profonde de la Nouvelle Lune, le client franchit le seuil du 34 et abandonne le monde ordinaire. Ici d\u00e9bute sa travers\u00e9e. Le temps se suspend, les rep\u00e8res se brouillent, l\u2019inconnu entrouvre ses portes.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

La Nuit poursuit son \u0153uvre. Sous la fine lumi\u00e8re du Premier Croissant, les reflets se multiplient dans un jeu de surfaces miroitantes. Le client s\u2019enfonce davantage dans son voyage. Une lueur fend l\u2019obscurit\u00e9, \u00e9clairant le chemin du client sans en d\u00e9voiler le myst\u00e8re.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

Acte I, Sc\u00e8ne III \u00b7 L’Antichambre<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n

La Nuit change de visage. Sous la lumi\u00e8re du Premier Quartier, ombre et lumi\u00e8re se partagent l\u2019espace. Dans cette halte, le client marque une pause. Sous ses pas, le sol se teinte de rouge, comme signe d\u2019une m\u00e9tamorphose en cours. La lumi\u00e8re gagne du terrain.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

La clart\u00e9 s\u2019affirme. Nich\u00e9 au fond de l\u2019espace, le bar appara\u00eet enfin. Les ombres reculent, les perspectives s\u2019ouvrent et l\u2019espace se r\u00e9v\u00e8le dans une clart\u00e9 nouvelle. Le voyage approche de son apog\u00e9e, la Pleine Lune se dessine d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 l\u2019horizon.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n
