Fragm\u2019\u00e2me emerges from a contradiction observed in the Italian town of Patern\u00f2: a territory with a strong landscape, agricultural, and volcanic identity, yet marked by the abandonment of its vernacular architecture. The project asks how these fragments can be brought back to life without erasing their memory.
Starting from a nineteenth-century farmstead composed of houses, water reservoirs, irrigation channels, and lava-stone pyramids, the project proposes a rural retreat distributed among the existing ruins. The remains are restored, extended, and reconnected through new uses: accommodation, a restaurant, tasting spaces, a shop, an open-air bar, event spaces, and pathways winding through the olive groves.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n
