Located in the heart of Rue Daguerre, the Arte-Maeght print shop remains largely overlooked today despite its significance in the history of fine art printing. Our project aims to reveal this hidden heritage by opening it to the public, while preserving its artisanal practices and industrial identity.

Inspired by Agn\u00e8s Varda\u2019s portrayal of the street\u2019s residents in *Daguerr\u00e9otypes*, the project revolves around the concept of performance: doing, observing, and being observed. The technical processes of the print shop are made visible through the design of pathways, mezzanines, and transparent elements.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n

Situ\u00e9e rue Daguerre, l\u2019imprimerie Arte s\u2019inscrit dans une rue commer\u00e7ante et anim\u00e9e, \u00e0 l\u2019ambiance de village. Pourtant, elle reste m\u00e9connue des passants. Le projet cherche \u00e0 r\u00e9v\u00e9ler sa pr\u00e9sence et \u00e0 renforcer son lien avec la rue, notamment par un travail sur la porte coch\u00e8re.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

La coupe met en \u00e9vidence les circulations verticales et la s\u00e9paration entre les espaces priv\u00e9s et publics. \u00c0 gauche, elles desservent les espaces r\u00e9serv\u00e9s aux imprimeurs, aux r\u00e9sidents de la r\u00e9sidence d\u2019artistes et aux participants des ateliers amateurs. \u00c0 droite, elles permettent au public d\u2019acc\u00e9der aux espaces d\u2019exposition.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n
