We invite you to revisit these customs, when a meal was a ceremony and rules governed every gesture.

We therefore present a table setting as a work of art\u2014a staging that brings to life our selection of five rules of etiquette.

Our project sculpts the invisible essence of these ancestral gestures: hands must rest properly, and cutlery must follow the engraved order. Like fossils, without words, these rules are frozen into the table. What was once passed down orally becomes tangible matter.
