Today\u2019s hospitals impose limits, hierarchies, and circulation patterns that rigidify practices. \u201cCultivating Care\u201d proposes to question these divisions by working to erase them, in order to create more open spaces where practices intermingle and evolve. Through a porous architecture\u2014composed of thresholds, transitions, and gradual transitions\u2014the building supports the body rather than constraining it. The herbarium thus becomes an anchor point: a place where plants are cultivated, handled, and transformed, and where care is also expressed through physical action. By reintroducing the living into the heart of the project, I explore a more horizontal way of inhabiting the hospital, where care becomes a shared experience.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n

L’analyse du b\u00e2timent H de l’h\u00f4pital Ren\u00e9e Sabran a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 un lieu de passage aux usages multiples, mais aussi une organisation tr\u00e8s cloisonn\u00e9e. Les fonctions, les parcours et les espaces sont clairement d\u00e9finis, laissant peu de place aux rencontres, aux usages spontan\u00e9s ou \u00e0 des lieux de vie partag\u00e9s au sein de l’h\u00f4pital.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

Ancien sanatorium maritime, l’h\u00f4pital b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d’un cadre exceptionnel entre mer et pin\u00e8de. Si les espaces ext\u00e9rieurs participent d\u00e9j\u00e0 au parcours de r\u00e9\u00e9ducation, cette richesse paysag\u00e8re reste peu pr\u00e9sente dans les espaces int\u00e9rieurs. Le projet cherche \u00e0 renouer ce dialogue entre architecture, paysage et soin.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

Face \u00e0 ces constats, le projet propose une nouvelle mani\u00e8re d’habiter l’h\u00f4pital en d\u00e9veloppant le concept Vitamine Green. \u00c0 travers l’herboristerie et les activit\u00e9s qui l’accompagnent, le soin ne se limite plus au geste m\u00e9dical mais devient une exp\u00e9rience quotidienne fond\u00e9e sur le vivant, le partage et la transmission.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

Le concept prend forme \u00e0 travers la notion d’accumulation, inspir\u00e9e du s\u00e9chage des plantes aromatiques. La r\u00e9p\u00e9tition d’\u00e9l\u00e9ments cr\u00e9e des filtres, des \u00e9paisseurs et des seuils qui remplacent les limites franches et accompagnent progressivement les usages.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

La terrasse s’ouvre sur un jardin en restanques d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la culture des plantes aromatiques et m\u00e9dicinales. Pens\u00e9 comme un prolongement du projet, il permet leur culture, leur r\u00e9colte et leur utilisation au sein de l’herboristerie, tout en offrant un espace de contemplation et de reconnexion \u00e0 la nature.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n

Le b\u00e2timent accueille une herboristerie, des ateliers de transformation, des espaces de pratique, de repos et de convivialit\u00e9. Cette programmation accompagne diff\u00e9rentes temporalit\u00e9s du soin et favorise les \u00e9changes entre patients, soignants, visiteurs et habitants.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n

Trois parois habit\u00e9es structurent le projet. Elles regroupent des fonctions de rangement, d’exposition et d’usage, tout en cr\u00e9ant des transitions entre les espaces. Leur \u00e9paisseur permet d’accompagner les parcours sans cloisonner les lieux.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n
