“Pour que la mer n’ai jamais plus le go\u00fbt des larmes” \u00a0<\/em>devise des sauveteurs en mer, SNSM.\n \n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n\n

Cette devise tente tel un phare de mettre la lumi\u00e8re sur ce besoin de conservation, \u00e0, ensemble, sauvegarder ce patrimoine, ces ressources, ces habitants et cette histoire commune qui forge le caract\u00e8re de nos c\u00f4tes.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

En fermant les yeux, je repense \u00e0 tous ceux que j\u2019ai rencontr\u00e9s sur ma route, ceux qui m\u2019ont permis de croire que nous pouvons conserver ces m\u00e9moires, celles que nous construisons d\u00e9j\u00e0 en tant que architectes, celles que nous voulons continuer de voir vivre une fois que la mer nous aura tous emport\u00e9s…<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

At first, the seafarers who took the risk of settling in these fearsome places and thus shaped the coastline relied on their beliefs and superstitions to overcome the dangers of the sea. Indeed, the fear of this hostile environment gave these villages a fantasy aura, where the sea, a majestic and fatal force, deeply permeated the daily lives of the inhabitants.

Nevertheless, the coastline has undergone a profound transformation, adapting to new challenges.
