We examine how design was born in a capitalist context, inseparable from industry, and how it has become a cultural product, adhering to the autonomous trend of art.
It has penetrated all spheres of society by becoming a global model and philosophical stance, transforming our social relationships.

We postulate that while it sometimes seems illusory to transform design into an ecological ally, new paths are opening towards a formal and theoretical revolution in design using the notion of utopia.
