I sought to offer a new perspective on the symbolism of these objects and their evolution from the Middle Ages to the present day. The analysis of stylistic, cultural and technical developments leads us to understand how ceramic, welcoming and artisanal by nature, has become a material of choice. Today, collaborations between designers, ceramicists and star chefs push the boundaries of culinary presentation by exploring new functional, aesthetic and sensory dimensions.
