Architecture also anticipates this presence of the human body in its designs. Every movement, every gesture, whether it's dancing or not, involves a transformation of the space occupied by the body. The association of dance and architecture raises several questions as one describes a mobile spatiality and the other a fixed spatiality. In analysing choreographic works and architecture, different types of spaces can be identified: the material space, the constrained space and free space.
