Faced with coastal erosion and tourist pressure threatening Cap Ferret's ecosystem, oyster farmers and their seasonal workers struggle to find accommodation. The Les Grépins project provides a sustainable solution: lightweight, adjustable cabins inspired by local architecture. Several iterations cater to diverse needs, centred around a shared core that encourages exchange and communal living. This hamlet, active throughout the year, integrates harmoniously into the landscape by embracing its architectural reality. The renovation of Les Grépins is an invitation to explore this territory with a new perspective, to discreetly discover a forgotten part of our architectural history.
