Alta is a compact retreat designed for one person, inspired by the concept of "workation": a new way of experiencing the world that combines remote work with immersion in places once reserved for leisure.
Designed to operate in two orientations, it can be rotated 180° along its longitudinal axis, adapting precisely to floor configurations, whether flat or steep. This formal reversibility, which does not affect internal use, lends the project a contextual rigour.
Alta serves as both a tool for concentration and a place of retreat, framed by a landscape-sensitive design that embraces a minimalist aesthetic, highlighting the quiet presence of mountain architecture.
